Sadhus who came to Pashupati will get 21 kinds of gifts when they return, the President decided
Kathmandu. Ramachandra Paudel has made a formal resolution of the materials to be provided to the sadhusant who came to visit the Pashupatinath temple on the occasion of Mahashivratri. Every year before Mahashivratri which is celebrated on Phalgun Krishna Trayodashi, there is a tradition of resolving the material to be given to the sadhus by the President on the morning of Ekadashi.
According to Janak Pokharel, spokesperson and law officer of Guthi Sansthan, 21 types of materials will be provided to the original sadhus with a set of lota, chammar, bell, radi along with Dakshina. These materials are handed over to the saints who come to Pashupati from different parts of the world during Mahashivratri.
