RSVP Joint General Minister Acharya withdrew his name from the proportional list

Kathmandu. Bipin Kumar Acharya, joint general minister of Rashtriya Swatantra Party RSVP, has withdrawn his name from the list of proportional candidates. A leader said that Acharya withdrew his name for the purpose of being active in other activities of the party after the number of those who expressed their desire towards proportionality increased. Acharya was recommended as number one on the proportional side under the Khas Arya group.

The process of withdrawing names from the proportional list in the RSVP is continuing. Earlier, Dr Arniko Pandey, Tasi Sherpa, Trishala Gurung, Asif Sah, Sachin Dhakal, Mahendra Lavati, Milan Limbu, Srijan Oli Sirju, Mohana Ansari, Sajan Vick and Sudesh Gurung have also withdrawn their names.

According to the election work schedule, the parties had submitted the list of proportional candidates to the Election Commission on 13th and 14th of December. After studying the list, the Commission has instructed the parties to correct the errors seen on Sunday.
