After hitting three sixes in one-day cricket against South Africa in Ranchi, Rohit became the player with the highest number of sixes in the world. He has hit 352 sixes. Earlier, the record was held by Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. Afridi hit 351 sixes. He has retired.
