Kathmandu. Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma has become the player who has hit the most number of sixes in ODI cricket. After hitting three sixes in one-day cricket against South Africa in Ranchi, Rohit became the player with the highest number of sixes in the world. He has hit 352 sixes. Earlier, the record was held by Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. Afridi hit 351 sixes. He has retired. 

Rohit will further increase this record while still playing one-dayers. Now if Rohit hits five sixes, he will also set the record for most sixes in all styles of the game. Rohit scored 57 runs off 51 balls while sharing a partnership of 136 runs for the second wicket with Virot Kohli. This is Rohit's 60th fifty.
