Kathmandu. The weather forecasting division under the Department of Water and Meteorology has informed that the influence of Monsoon air is present across the country and the low pressure line of Monsoon is located a little to the north and east of Sardar place.

Currently, it is generally cloudy across the country. A few places in Gandaki province, a few in Koshi, Bagmati and Lumbini provinces and a couple of places in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are receiving light to moderate rain. Heavy rain is also falling in one (two) places in the hilly areas of Gandaki province.

It will be mostly cloudy over the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate to moderate rain and snow accompanied by thunder and lightning in many parts of the mountainous and hilly areas of the country. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thunder and lightning in many places of Terai region of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces, and some places of Terai region of Madhesh Province and Koshi Province. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, the hilly areas of Karnali Province and the hilly and Terai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
