Kathmandu.  At present, there is a partial influence of Monsoon winds and western winds over the country. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon low pressure line is located south of Sardar place. At present, it is generally cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country including Lumbini province, while the rest of the Terai area is partly cloudy.

 Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is occurring at a few places in Bagmati province and one or two places in Koshi, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces. In the afternoon, it will be cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country, while it will be partly cloudy in the Terai region. There is a possibility of moderate rain and snow with thunder and lightning in some places of the Himalayan and hilly areas.
