Resignation of four ambassadors accepted

Kathmandu. The resignations of ambassadors recalled by the government have been accepted. Four of the ambassadors recalled by the Sushila Karki-led government resigned. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, who is also the Minister of Foreign Affairs, accepted their resignation. According to the ministry, the resignations submitted by Lokdarshan Regmi, Nepali Ambassador to America, Krishna Prasad Oli, Nepali Ambassador to China, Ramesh Chandra Paudel of Qatar, and Chandrakumar Ghimire of Britain have been accepted.

They submitted their resignations to the Ministry's Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai on different dates. Secretary Rai submitted their resignations to the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Karki and the resignations were accepted.

The cabinet meeting held on October 30 decided to recall 11 ambassadors from different countries to arrive in Nepal by October 20.

While hearing the petition filed in the Supreme Court against the said decision, the Supreme Court ordered the government not to implement the decision on 16th October.
