Rescue of 46 Nepalis from Cambodia

Kathmandu. The Nepali Embassy in Bangkok has rescued 46 Nepalis from Cambodia. All those who were rescued have returned to their country. After receiving information that they had been illegally employed, they were rescued and returned home with the help of the Cambodian government.

According to the embassy, ​​101 Nepali people came to Cambodia in 2021, 1,977 in 2022, 2,940 in 2023, 6,404 in 2024 and 9,676 in 2025. Also, the embassy has requested not to go to Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand without obtaining a work permit.
