Main News Image

Kathmandu. The National Human Rights Commission has recommended the government to conduct a detailed investigation on former judge Gauri Bahadur Karki and various activists, politicians and celebrities regarding the violent incidents and damages during the Nayuwa Genji movement that took place on August 23 and 24.

The Commission said that the role of the people who spoke in favor of the movement through social media and public platforms, including the former judge Karki, who is also the coordinator of the high-level investigation committee formed by the government, is questionable.
