Kathmandu. 22-year-old Rabindra Mehta, who was seriously injured by a bullet during a violent clash in Kaptanganj, located in Dewanganj Rural Municipality-3 of Sunsari, died during treatment. After the incident, he was brought to Kathmandu for further treatment and died at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajganj on Tuesday at 10:30 am.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, the bullet in the body could not be removed due to the health condition being very complicated. Doctors even amputated his leg after the left thigh vein was seriously damaged, but he could not be saved during the treatment.
Omprakash Mehta and Jayprakash Mehta have already died due to gunshots during the clash, bringing the total number of deaths in the Kaptanganj incident to 3.
