Main News Image

Kathmandu. Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the National Independent Party (RSWP), which is preparing to form the government with almost two-thirds majority, and Balen Shah, a senior leader, are continuously discussing about government formation. While preparations are being made to form a government under the leadership of Balen within the next week, the two leaders have not been able to agree on the matter of ministerial selection. Balen is in favor of choosing ministers to make it easier for him to form the government.

According to sources, senior leader Balen proposed to Chairman Ravi that 'you run the party, let me run the government'. Balen, who is preparing to form a government by reducing the ministries, has proposed to Ravi that the selection of ministers should be done in a way that suits him.
