Rain floods Roshi river, BP highway blocked again

Kathmandu. . In Kavrepalanchok district, the BP highway has been blocked again after the flood in the Roshi river washed away the diversion due to incessant rain. District Police Office Kavre said that the road, which was partially operational from Monday evening, was closed again from Tuesday evening. Earlier, the road was blocked since Saturday when the diversion was carried away by the flood of Roshi Khola.

On Tuesday evening, the water level in the river increased due to rain again, causing problems in the road operation and the traffic was completely closed, police said. As the road is closed, the means of travel to and fro east from Kathmandu have stopped.
