Proposed Chief Justice Dr. 7 complaints against Manoj Sharma in Parliamentary Hearing Committee

Kathmandu. Seven complaints have been registered against the proposed Chief Justice Dr. Manoj Sharma in the Parliamentary Hearing Committee. According to Ekram Giri, Spokesperson and Joint Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the complaints were filed against the proposed Chief Justice Sharma till Saturday evening.

Earlier, on 26th Baisakh, the parliamentary hearing committee issued a public appeal by setting a deadline of 10 days to file a complaint with clear grounds and evidence if they think that Sharma is not fit to be appointed to the post of Chief Justice. The committee stated that the complainant's privacy will be maintained and the complaint should clearly disclose their name, surname, address and phone number. The secretariat said that the deadline for filing complaints is tomorrow, Monday 9th, before office hours, so the number of complaints may increase.
