Private sector investment is necessary in transmission line expansion: Minister Shrestha
Kathmandu. Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Viraj Bhakta Shrestha has said that private sector investment is necessary in the expansion of transmission lines. On Friday, the Development, Economic Affairs and Governance Committee under the National Assembly discussed the Ministry's budget and annual program for the coming financial year 2083-084.
According to Minister Shrestha, a transmission line project worth about 20 billion rupees is currently underway under the PPP public-private partnership model.
