Prioritizing elections does not mean staying silent on issues of good governance and anti-corruption: Prime Minister

Kathmandu. In a special ceremony organized on the occasion of Nepal Samvat 1146, Prime Minister Sushila Karki expressed her commitment to advance the country in the direction of good governance and stability. Speaking at a historic ceremony in Basantpur, she informed that preparations for the forthcoming House of Representatives elections to be held in a fear-free and fair environment have been rapidly advanced by the government.

Prime Minister Karki said, 'This civilian government formed on the strength of the movement has been given the responsibility of holding the election of the House of Representatives on February 21, 2082. We are working diligently to prepare for it.' She said that she is in contact with the Genji community, the bearer of change, while normalizing the political situation after the uprising, while mentioning that there is continuous dialogue with all parties.
