Prime Minister will not address on Republic Day
Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah will not address the special ceremony of the Republic Day to be celebrated across the country on May 15. The Prime Minister's Office has formally written a letter requesting the Hon'ble President to address the ceremony instead of the Prime Minister.
Chief Secretary umanraj Aryal delivered the letter to the President's Office Sheetal Niwas as per the decision of the Council of Ministers meeting to request the President on this matter. According to Prime Minister's Office sources, apart from formal letters, the President is also being requested for this informally.
