Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah has taken a written explanation from Home Minister Sudhan Gurung. Prime Minister Shah took interest in this matter after Home Minister Gurung was questioned about the lack of details regarding the purchase of shares in the property statement and a 'connection' with businessman Deepak Bhatt, who is in police custody on charges of money laundering.
As soon as the matter became public, Home Minister Gurung gave an explanation by claiming that he had taken a loan for the purchase of shares. Addressing the questions raised on this matter, he has said that he has answered them with the necessary details. According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, Prime Minister Shah has expressed serious concern about this case. The Home Minister's Secretariat said that a written explanation has been submitted to the Prime Minister.
According to the Secretariat, Home Minister Gurung submitted a written explanation to the Prime Minister at around 6 pm on Monday.
