President Poudel leaves for Qatar

Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Poudel has left for Qatar today. He has left to participate in the 'Second World Summit for Social Development' which will be held in Qatar's capital Doha from October 18 to 20. President Paudel headed a 12-member Nepalese delegation at the invitation of Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki and Home Minister Omprakash Aryal bid farewell to President Paudel at Tribhuvan International Airport. On that occasion, government employees of special ranks, heads of security agencies, representatives of foreign diplomatic agencies in Nepal were present. In honor of President Paudel, the Nepali Army paid tribute.
President Paudel will address the main session of the conference on November 18. During the conference, President Paudel will meet with various dignitaries including the Emir of Qatar and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
