Preparing to operate traffic through the reconstructed BP highway during rainy season

Kavrepalanchok. BP Highway, which has been damaged by repeated floods and landslides, is currently undergoing permanent reconstruction. Divisional Road Office Bhaktapur said that the permanent reconstruction work started at three places of the damaged road section of the highway, which is a short distance connecting the eastern and central hilly areas of Nepal with the federal capital Kathmandu, has been accelerated.
Senior Divisional Engineer Suman Yogesh said that the construction work has been accelerated so that the infrastructure can be built in the risky areas of the highway before the rains and the means of transport can be operated from the highway itself.
