The draft ordinance prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs has been sent to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs after suggestions from stakeholders. Home Minister Omprakash Aryal said that the draft of the ordinance is to allow the citizens of different constituencies to participate in voting along with those who are abroad.
Minister Aryal said, "We are trying to get voters from out of country and out of constituencies to participate in the election." We have sent the draft of the ordinance to the Ministry of Law. The ordinance sent to the Ministry of Law will be sent to the relevant ministry after necessary amendments.
