Preparations for NPL complete: Can's claim to raise 35 crores

Kathmandu. According to the Nepal Cricket Association CAN, all the preparations for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League NPL have been completed. Paras Khadka, General Secretary of CAN, informed in a press conference held today that all the preparations for the competition, which will be held from Monday to November 27, have been completed.

The winning team of the competition will be awarded Rs. Earlier, Janakpur Bolts won the title by defeating Sudurpaschim Royals. Similarly, the runner-up team of the competition will receive 51 lakh, the third place winner will receive 2.5 million and the fourth place will receive 1.5 million.

Eight different franchise teams will participate in the NPL. The opening match will be between Janakpur Bolts and Kathmandu Gorkhaz. Also, CAN said that more than Rs 35 crore will be raised in NPL. CAN has said that 153 million sponsors will rise from 90 million participating teams. After deducting 53 million from the money raised from OTT, 71 percent of the remaining money is expected to be collected from 8 to 120 million tickets, Can has informed through a press conference.
