Preparation of 20 Act Amendments, Ministry of Law calls for opinions and suggestions from the general public

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has asked for opinions and suggestions from the general public on the Draft Legislation Act, 2081 for amending some Nepal Acts.

The Ministry has taken this step to understand the views of stakeholders and common citizens on the amendment proposal of 20 important laws in force in the country. According to Dal Bahadur Adhikari, spokesperson of the ministry, interested persons or organizations should provide their valuable opinions and suggestions to the ministry in the specified language and format within a week.

This time, the government has prepared to amend the old and new laws related to education, land, health, employment, social security and service sectors in a timely manner.
