Preparation for re-operation of Hetauda textile industry
Bagmati. With the preparation of the government to re-open the Hetauda textile industry, which has been closed for a long time, the activity has been increased with the on-site approval from the government agencies.
Established in 2032 within the Hetauda Industrial Zone, Hetauda Textile Industry, operating since 2035, was closed in 2057. Since then, many attempts have been made to bring the textile industry back into operation, but the efforts have not been fruitful. Himalaya Bhandari, Information Officer of Industrial Zone Management Limited, Hedauda Office, informed that with the increased interest of the government for its operation this year, the activity has been increased along with on-site monitoring by the government.
