Prachanda did not accept that both of them should be the president, he proposed the co-coordinator himself: Madhav Nepal
Kathmandu. Madhav Kumar Nepal, co-convenor of the Nepali Communist Party, has said that he is not a person who aspires for the position. Leader Nepal has revealed that he became co-coordinator by rejecting the proposal to have two presidents during the party unity. During an interview, Nepal Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda proposed that both of them be the president, but he claimed that he did not agree.
Prachanda had already said. Let's arrange two presidents, let's go to the previous model. Prachandaji has shown generosity towards him to let us go to the model of 2075. He said, 'I said, I don't need it. So I will not leave the field and run away. But it is not to do anything for the position. If I wanted, I could have become the Prime Minister many times. I had already got that opportunity.
He has said that he rejected Prachanda's proposal because he said that he had cheated for the position. He also said that he would sing this song again saying that he tried for two presidential positions in vain. He also claimed that even after Nepal became a unified socialist country, he was offered the presidency and the prime ministership.
