Pollution will increase until the weather turns cloudy, urge to be aware

Kathmandu. Air pollution has increased rapidly in Kathmandu Valley. Air pollution has also started to increase as the weather has turned cloudy in the last few days. Director General of the Environment Department, Gyanraj Subedi, said that due to the lack of rain and wind for a long time, pollution has increased due to foggy weather and urged people not to go out unnecessarily during air pollution and to use masks. For some time, the weather has not been clear in most parts of the country, including the valleys, the sun has not shone and there has not been rain. The wind is not even blowing', he said, 'with the clear weather, the pollution will decrease, it is necessary to take necessary precautions when the air pollution increases.'

Meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari of the Department of Water and Meteorology said that the weather will improve from today and the monsoon will disappear. According to the Environment Department, only after the weather becomes clear, the air pollution will also decrease.
