Polling has not stopped in any centre: Election Commission

Kathmandu. According to the Election Commission, the voting process is continuing in a peaceful, free and cheerful atmosphere in all the polling centers across the country. Election Commissioner Dr. Janaki Kumari Tuladhar informed that polling work has not been stopped in any polling station in the country so far and it is being conducted smoothly in all places.

Informing about the latest situation of voting, Commissioner Tuladhar said that voters are enthusiastically reaching the polling station and exercising their right to vote. Speaking about security arrangements and management of polling stations, she mentioned that effective arrangements have been made for security in this election. She also said that the environment of polling stations is calm and fearless.

She said, common voters are casting their votes in a very independent manner. In all the polling stations till now we have not found any such polling stations blocked. According to Commissioner Tuladhar, the Election Commission has made the polling stations specially accessible this time. She said that special attention has been paid to the construction and management of polling stations so that citizens of all classes and communities can vote easily.
