The police shot and arrested a person who stole 65 tolas of gold and silver jewelery worth around 1 crore 4 lakh 53 thousand rupees from the house of Rinji Lama in Buddh Tusal, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6. A team of District Police Complex Kathmandu and Police Circle Buddh tried to arrest Prem Tharu from Mahankal of Nagarjuna Municipality last night.

Tharu, who was injured by the police, is currently being treated at the trauma center, District Police Complex Kathmandu said. According to the police investigation, Tharu entered Rinji Lama's house around 12 noon on Tuesday.
