Pokhara-Muglin road: The deadline for the western section has been extended for the third time

Kathmandu. Under the Prithviraj Highway, Pokhara-Muglin Road Expansion and Upgrading Project has been extended for the third time for the western section. This highway, which connects the tourist capital Pokhara to the federal capital Kathmandu, is being upgraded for four years with the loan support of the Asian Development Bank ADB.
Krishna Bahadur Kunwar, Head of Planning of Muglin-Pokhara Road Project, West Section informed that as the project could not be completed within the stipulated time even after twice extension of the project, according to the demand of the construction company, the road department has extended the time till 15th June 2083.
