Plain-clothes police deployed at depots in the valley to prevent black market of gas

Kathmandu. Plain-clothed policemen have been mobilized at various gas depots in Kathmandu Valley following reports of black-marketing of cooking gas by creating an artificial shortage. In coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Industry, surveillance and monitoring have been started at gas depots and sales centers since Sunday morning.

Industry Minister Gauri Yadav took a serious interest in this matter when there was no problem in the import of gas from India.
