Petrol reduced by Rs 4 per litre
Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and jet fuel. According to the latest decision of the corporation, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 4 per liter and the price of diesel and kerosene has been reduced by Rs 5 per liter. The corporation has reduced the domestic aviation fuel by Rs 6 per litre. It is mentioned in the statement issued by the corporation that the new reduced price will be applicable from Thursday morning.
The new price has been adjusted according to the price sent by the Indian Oil Corporation. With the price adjustment, now the price of petrol in Kathmandu Valley will be Rs 159 per liter and diesel/kerosene will be Rs 137 per liter. According to the corporation, this step has been taken to provide relief to the consumers in the Nepali market due to changes in the price of petroleum products in the international market.
As for Air Fuel International, the price has been reduced by USD 42 per kilometer, according to a statement issued by the corporation.
The price of LPG gas has been kept unchanged.
