Kathmandu. According to the Water and Weather Forecast Division, the weather will be partly to normal across the country today. In the afternoon, it is expected to be cloudy, especially in the Himalayan and hilly areas, and partly cloudy in other areas.
According to the department, there is a possibility of moderate rain and snowfall along with thunder, lightning, hail and windstorm in some places in the hilly and Himalayan regions. It is said that light rain with thunder and lightning may occur in few places of Terai in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and one or two places in other Terai areas. Meteorologists have advised caution as there is a possibility of storm in some places of Terai region of Madhesh, Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
