Partial influence of western wind: Cool in plains, clear weather in hilly areas

Kathmandu. At present, there is a partial effect of western wind in Nepal. At present, there is a general change in the Himalayan area, while the rest of the area has a partial change and the weather is mainly clear. At present, there is fog and mist in some places of Terai.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a chance of rain and fog in most parts of Terai this afternoon. In hilly and mountainous areas, the weather is expected to be generally clear. Similarly, tonight too, fog will occur in some places in the Terai and the weather in the hilly and Himalayan regions will be clear, the department said.
The department has requested the general public to exercise necessary vigilance saying that due to cold and heat, daily life, tourism, health, and even air and road transport may be affected.
