Nepali Communist Party CPN leader and former minister Pampha Bhusal has announced that she will not be a candidate in the upcoming House of Representatives elections both directly and proportionally. She has announced that she will not contest the elections with the opinion that the young people who have not yet had the opportunity but who are capable, committed and energetic should be brought forward in both the direct and proportional process.

On Sunday, Bhusal announced that she will not contest the election through Facebook. She wrote on Facebook, "Inquiries are coming from friends all over the country about standing in the upcoming elections. This time I have decided not to become a candidate in both direct and proportional elections.

Bhusal said that she will not become a candidate, mentioning that there have been recommendations of candidates from various constituencies in the country including Lalitpur. Stating that she could not accept the offer to become a candidate, she said, "I did not accept the offer from various regions of the country, including Lalitpur, as a direct and proportional candidate in the elections to be held on February 21." Mentioning that he has won direct elections twice before and has become a minister, he says that he will use that experience in building the party. Bhusal wrote, "I have already won direct elections twice and have also had the opportunity to work as a minister several times. I believe that now that political experience and learning should be used institutionally within the party.
