Palpa Cement will issue an IPO for the general public from February 12

Kathmandu. Palpa Cement Industries Limited is going to issue an IPO to the general public from the 12th of February. In the first phase, the company has issued and distributed IPO to local residents of industry-affected areas and Nepalese working abroad, and now it is going to issue it to the general public in the second phase.

The company has received permission from the Nepal Securities Board to issue 20 percent of the issued capital of Rs. Out of which, 18 lakh 75 thousand shares have been issued to the local residents of the industry affected areas and 562 thousand 500 shares have been issued and distributed to Nepalis working abroad.

Now, out of the remaining shares, 2 lakh 81 thousand 250 shares are reserved for collective investment funds and 2 lakh 81 thousand 250 shares are reserved for the employees of the company and the remaining shares are going to be opened for sale to the general public at the rate of 100 rupees per share.
