Now the national identity card can be downloaded by itself

Kathmandu. The government has launched a service that can be downloaded by the concerned person. The National Identification and Registration Department has started the service as a test from yesterday. Through the department's national identity card website, one can download the identity card with the person's photo and online 'verification' QR code.
Under the government's 100 work list related to governance reforms, point no. 2 mentioned that "build a system to download a person's photo and national identity card with a QR code from the department's system". Citizens who have received a National Identity Card number can download their card by submitting their name in Nepali or English, date of birth and citizenship issue date, the department said.
