Nepal Rastra Bank has implemented such a provision by revising the Integrated Directive, 2082 issued for banks and financial institutions.
Asar banks and financial institutions of Rashtra Bank should make arrangements to work 924/70 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to freeze the relevant bank account for a short period of time if they receive an oral or written request from an official investigating a crime or a law enforcement officer to reduce financial crime.
