Kathmandu. Now, if a citizen commits a banking and financial crime, if he gives an immediate verbal order, the system of freezing the account will be implemented. For which the National Bank has asked the banks to provide 24-hour service. Nepal Rastra Bank has implemented such a provision by revising the Integrated Directive, 2082 issued for banks and financial institutions.
Asar banks and financial institutions of Rashtra Bank should make arrangements to work 924/70 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to freeze the relevant bank account for a short period of time if they receive an oral or written request from an official investigating a crime or a law enforcement officer to reduce financial crime.
