Now police salary will come every 15 days

Kathmandu. The government is going to pay the police every 15 days from the next financial year 2083/84. Nepal Police Head Office, Administration Department Budget Branch on Tuesday issued a circular to the budget management offices across the country and instructed them to implement the provisions according to the decision of the Ministry of Finance and the letter of the Comptroller General's Office.

In the circular, according to the Finance Minister's decision and the letter of the Comptroller General's Office dated 21st May, from the next financial year, it is mentioned that necessary arrangements have been made in the system of paying salaries and allowances semi-monthly after 15 days of every month from the next financial year.

The Neal Police Headquarters has requested the concerned offices to arrange and implement accordingly. Also, the Police Head Office, Welfare Division has also been asked to organize the related financial systems according to the new system.
