Not left unity, let's make a reformed UML: Surendra Pandey
Kathmandu. CPN-UML leader Surendra Pandey has said that more attention should be paid to the reform of the party than the unity of the party. He expressed the opinion that it is very important to involve the young generation especially in the reconstruction of the party.
Pandey has raised serious questions about the justification and necessity of the immediate rush of left unity in his statements made public through social media. He said, yesterday they united to get the post, today maybe to save their lost existence.
Acknowledging the historical legacy and strong base of CPN-UML, he urged them to think for long-term planning and empowerment of the party instead of immediate political gains. It is important to think how to keep it strong and united for a long time, said Pandey.
