They were rescued from Myawdi in Myanmar and sent to Nepal today through the immigration office of Tak province in Thailand, Mesot.
According to the embassy, efforts are being made to rescue 11 more Nepalis in Myanmar as soon as possible. After 19 October 2025, more than 2000 foreigners from 20 different countries, including 38 Nepalese, entered Thailand from various online fraud centers in Myawdi, Myanmar.
