Nepali Communist Party coordinator Prachanda, co-convenor Nepal
Kathmandu. Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has been selected as the coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party, which is formed by the unity of 10 parties including the Maoist Center of Nepal Communist Party, the Unified Socialist Party of Nepal. Madhav Kumar Nepal has been selected as co-convenor from Ekta National Conference. In the conference, Mahindra Rai Yadav, a member of the chairman's board, proposed the name of Dahal as the coordinator and co-coordinator of the newly formed party.
The proposal was unanimously approved by the conference. At that time, the senior leader of the Nepali Communist Party, Vamdev Gautam, commented that problems are created within the left-wing forces when the theory and behavior are different, and said that the socialist program should be implemented immediately. "This party is the party that came with the biggest structure and made sacrifices, this party alone can advance the socialist program," he said.
The leader of that party, Narayankaji Shrestha, said that the CPN will move forward firmly to fulfill the goal of scientific socialism with Nepali characteristics. Party leader Pampha Bhusal mentioned that the United Party is the main current of the left wing movement in Nepal and expressed her belief that the new party will fulfill the task of socialist revolution.
