Nearly 3 lakh active membership updates in Congress

Kathmandu. Almost 3 lakh members of Nepali Congress have updated their active membership. As part of the 'Jara Abhiyaan', membership renewal started on 1st Baisakh. According to the acting chief secretary of the party office, Krishna Prasad Dulal, about 3 lakh people have updated their active membership in the campaign.

While the active membership update campaign is going on, the Congress has opened the new active membership form. With only two days left for the extended period for updating the active membership, the Congress has opened a new active membership.

"We ay not extend the deadline of this nature," Dulal told Bahrakhari, "For those who cannot update by keeping some criteria, we can add a few hours or days, but we are not thinking about extending the deadline." He said that the application for new membership has been opened so that there is no situation of not getting active membership of Congress. Dulal said that new active members can also participate in the 15th convention.
