MP Rachna Khatiwada became emotional - bring me a living son, I will leave the MP now

Kathmandu. Rachna Khatiwada Khatri, a member of Parliament of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), made it clear that she did not come to parliament for any political ambition or greed for office, and said that she is alerting the parliament for the justice of all the martyrs, including her son, who sacrificed herself in the Genji movement.

Speaking at zero hour of the House of Representatives meeting held on Tuesday, MP Khatri spoke about his personal pain and journey to justice, and the atmosphere in the Parliament became emotional. She said that she has reached the parliament not to let her son's sacrifice go to waste and to hold the current government accountable.

Giving her poignant statement, she said, "Standing in this dignified House today was not a political ambition or a greed for office. This is my journey to seek justice. After growing up in my womb for nine months, a piece of my heart that grew hot in front of my eyes was seeking justice with the hot bullets fired by the current ruler and his red blood. This is a holy journey."
