Motorcycle accident: A 31-year-old man and a woman riding behind also died
Kathmandu. Two people died in a motorcycle accident in Budiganga, Morang on Monday evening. In front of Swastik Jute Mill located in Budhiganga Rural Municipality Ward No. 4, the motorcycle numbered State 1-02-049 P 9223 went out of control and crashed, killing both the driver and the rear passenger.
According to the District Police Office Morang, the motorcyclist is 31-year-old Prakash Sah of Sunsari District's Duhbi Municipality Ward No. 5 and Kanchan Jha, 40-year-old of Biratnagar Metropolitan Municipality Ward No. 15, who was riding behind the same motorcycle.
Both the injured in the accident which happened at 7:30 pm were immediately rescued and sent to Virat Teaching Hospital at Ganga Chowk for treatment. After being taken to the hospital, the doctor declared both of them dead during the check-up, the police said. The police suspect that the motorcycle accident happened due to high speed.
