Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader Mohan Basnet claimed that a special convention was held under the leadership of Gagan Thapa. Addressing a gathering held by other parties in Kathmandu, he said that if the Congress is not strong, the country will be in danger.

He said, 'We have gathered the province. A central meeting should be held today, not to split the party, but to form another party, the democratic power under the leadership of Gagan Thapa will not be allowed to die.
