Minister Kulman remembered Diwali nine years ago

Kathmandu. Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Kulman Ghising has remembered the festival of nine years ago. On Tuesday morning, he commemorated the Diwali of the year 2073 while wishing Tihar through social media. At that time, he was the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority. Nepal was free from load shedding on Kulman's initiative.

"Diwali day has become a more special day for all of us as it was the beginning of the end of load shedding 9 years ago," he wrote. Towards the end, regular loadshedding all over Nepal came to an end. It has been 9 years today, the country has moved from darkness to light, Happy Diwali to all the Nepali people and countrymen.

Similarly, he kept a picture of Kathmandu on the night of Lakshmi Puja and said, 'The more the night went by, the more the lightning flashed and flickered.'
On the evening of Lakshmi Puja, the peak electricity demand across the country reached 1650 megawatts at 6:50 pm on October 3rd. At that time, 1015 MW electricity was exported from Nepal. In this way, Nepal Electricity Authority has informed that the total power generation has reached 2665 MW by internal demand and export.
