Kathmandu. Iran on Saturday requested the evacuation of Jebel Ali, the busiest port in the Middle East, and two other ports in the UAE. According to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the US has claimed that it attacked Kharg Island and Abu Musa Island from two locations in the UAE. However, no independent evidence of this has been made public. UAE officials have said the country has the right to ensure its own security, but they have also reiterated their commitment to restraint.
