Mexico earthquake update: At least 2 dead, 12 injured
Kathmandu. A 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck Mexico on Friday, killing at least two people. According to media CBS, the earthquake was felt in the southern and central part of Mexico on Friday evening. A 50-year-old woman died in the state of Guerrero, according to Governor Evelyn Salgado.
Likewise, Mayor Clara Brugada confirmed that a 60-year-old man died in Mexico City due to the earthquake. He also informed that 12 people were injured. The epicenter of the earthquake was near San Marcos in the southwestern state of Guerrero. Guerrero is near the popular tourist town of Acapulco.
