Member Secretary of Nepal Health Research Council Dr. Joshi

Kathmandu. Dr. Pramod Joshi has been appointed as member secretary of Nepal Health Research Council. On Friday, he took the oath of office and secrecy before Health and Food Hygiene Minister Nisha Mehta. He has gained long experience in health research, medical services and administrative fields. Dr. Joshi was also the member secretary of the council.

Dr. Joshi has completed MBBS from Odessa State Medical University, Ukraine in 2000 and MS in Orthopedics and Trauma from National Academy of Medical Sciences NYMS in 2009.

Dr. Joshi has done fellowship in arthroplasty and arthroscopy from Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, India. From 2024, 2024 to 2026, he held responsibility as the executive member secretary of Nepal Health Research Council. Before that, he worked as the Medical Superintendent of National Trauma Center, Founding Director of Geta Hospital and Senior Orthopedic Surgeon at Seti Provincial Hospital.
