Meeting of leaders demanding a special convention with Shekhar Koirala
Kathmandu. The group, which has collected the signatures of 54 percent of the delegates of the Nepali Congress and registered it at the party office, has discussed with the party leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala. After submitting the signatures, the leader Gururaj Ghimire, who has been leading the collection of signatures to bring the agenda of the 15th convention or alternatively a special convention within the four-year term, informed the party's leader Koirala that the debate was going on in the party central committee meeting today.
During the meetings and discussions, leader Koirala said that the election of the central committee with timely policy formulation through regular or special convention is the only way now. Congress leader Manojmani Acharya said that if the regular convention does not take place, he will take the initiative for a special convention.
